KDA at the ERO FDI Plenary Session in Sofia: 35 Years in the International Professional Community

In late April 2026, the Kazakhstan Dental Association (KDA) took part in the plenary session of the European Regional Organisation of the Fédération Dentaire Internationale (ERO FDI), held in Sofia. The KDA was represented by Association President D.S. Ospanova, KDA President-Elect A.T. Baigulakov, and KDA Board Member A. Kalymtai.

During the formation of independent Kazakhstan, our association was among the first to receive international professional recognition, joining the FDI in the early 1990s, and has been building professional ties and cooperation with the global dental community for over 30 years.

Today, international platforms such as this enable not only the strengthening of those ties, but also active participation in shaping the professional agenda, exchanging experience, educational approaches, and contemporary directions in dentistry.

The KDA's participation in the ERO FDI plenary session in Sofia holds particular significance in the year of the association's 35th anniversary.

We are proud that Kazakhstani dentistry continues to be part of the global professional community and international dialogue.
